PRIVACY & INFORMATION HANDLING

Your project information.
A clear purpose.

This notice describes the Civil & Home website’s inquiry and measurement features. Last updated September 12, 2026.

Who receives your information

Civil & Home Solutions LLC, based in Hendersonville, North Carolina, uses project inquiries to review potential work and respond to you. Questions or requests about information can be sent to info@civilandhome.com or discussed at 828-575-7200.

What you choose to provide

The planner asks for your name, town or ZIP code, a contact method, project description and planning preferences. Optional photos and budget information help explain your request. Please do not include full property addresses, access codes, financial account information, faces, private documents or other information that is unnecessary for the initial inquiry.

Where inquiries and photos go

When you select Send, the website validates the request and saves it in private storage in our hosting account, outside the public website folder. The owner dashboard requires sign-in. Notification emails are sent through the configured mail provider and contain a reference, service category and sign-in link—not the uploaded photographs. Our hosting and mail providers process information to operate these services. Transport uses HTTPS; private file storage is not a claim of end-to-end encryption.

Photo handling and project examples

Only JPEG and PNG images are accepted. The application removes common image metadata including EXIF and embedded text. Please also remove sensitive details visible within the photograph itself. Inquiry photos are not automatically used as public project examples. Public case studies are entered separately by the owner after confirming permission to share the work and photographs.

Cookies and local browser storage

A secure, essential session cookie protects the project form and owner sign-in. It is not an advertising identifier. The planner holds your unfinished writing in the current page rather than saving it to browser storage. Browser autofill or session restoration may work according to your own settings. Session storage may hold only an allowlisted source or campaign label until the tab session ends; no contact details or project descriptions are stored there by this code.

First-party site measurement

The site can count page views, planner steps and contact-link clicks using aggregate daily totals on our own server. It does not send names, email addresses, project text or photos into these counters. It does not create a persistent visitor identifier, and counts are events rather than unique people. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable these optional counters and source-label storage. Short-lived, keyed network hashes are used separately for abuse prevention; raw IP addresses are not retained in application records. Hosting providers may maintain their own access and security logs.

No automatic AI assessment or marketing enrollment

The project prompts and internal intake summary use programmed rules. Your information is not sent to an external AI service by this build. The form does not diagnose property conditions, approve structural or plumbing work, produce a binding estimate or subscribe you to marketing messages.

Retention and your requests

Inquiries and photos remain available until the owner removes them or otherwise applies an appropriate project-record retention policy. You may ask to access, correct or delete inquiry information; identity and applicable recordkeeping needs may be checked. Application lead snapshots are kept for up to seven days and are scrubbed when an inquiry is deleted through the dashboard. Hosting-level backups and mail provider copies have separate retention. Aggregate metrics and application audit records are kept for up to 90 days; routine cleanup depends on the configured scheduled maintenance job.

External services and changes

Calling, emailing or following an external link uses the corresponding provider’s services. No advertising pixel, third-party analytics script or external AI provider is enabled by default. If additional services are added, the notice and applicable choices must be updated to reflect the actual configuration.
